The weekend could not come soon enough and it started out right - with some thingamajig that work decided to host. Took some pics obviously because they were so pretty and I wanna make you envious.

The Saturday was filled with yum cha-ing with some Americans, doing some blissful girly shopping, more eating/filling my second stomach and pretending to be all refined and cultured. Again, not really.
A. craved for some yum cha and insisted we went to Zilver again - and K's mum was around too so we brought them along just because we're nice and hospitable like that.
Fact.
Fact.
Spent the rest of the lazy afternoon doing some stress-free girly shopping as the husband was not around to bug J about going home to catch the F1 race that was on. Went to Chatswood just because we've been meaning to try out the new Asian dessert place - ZenQ.
P/S: This was shortly after just finishing a whole table full of dim sum and dessert!!! Plight of being girls with bottomless pitts for stomachs.
Fact.
Fact.
The friends were intrigued at what QQ pearls and taro balls were - so being the overly zealous person when it comes to ordering food, I got one dish per section of the menu - well almost.
BTW, we were all gobsmacked by the thing they call 'Chocolate Banana Honey Toast'.
I swear the name does not do it justice.
It's
this massive chunk of toast - carved out neatly on the inside with
these perfect baby cubes of more toasts - like little thick toast fries
- drizzled in honey and chocolate cream!!!
:) :) Yum yum yum
:) :) Yum yum yum
It's adorable that they had instructions on the menu on how to eat this monster of a thing!
And then for the grand finale, we went to Lyric Theatre for ANNIE!! <3s!!!
And then for the grand finale, we went to Lyric Theatre for ANNIE!! <3s!!!
The timeless tale of Little Orphan Annie is back giving a whole new
generation the chance to experience this classic musical about never
giving up hope. Boasting one of Broadway's most memorable scores,
including It's the Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street, N.Y.C. and the ever-optimistic Tomorrow, ANNIE is one of the most awarded and loved musicals of all time.
Did not plan to coordinate outfit. Promise and cross my heart.

Anyhoos, woke up the next morning feeling funny - like REALLY not well.
But again as it was a really good day outside, I ignored the symptoms and went out to Fountain St cafe just to catch up with the couz.
Lunch for champions - sourdough with butter and marmalade and juice -
apparently things that you do not take when having a bad case of stomach
flu.
So while the pretty little lady looked like this:

Le sigh. No judgement please, I've heard them all.
But you do not understand.
I was really weak and had no energy so I needed my leg to support my upper body in order to read the magazine!!!!
